Oliv Tapas Bar and Restaurant

So we've been to their Tasting Room in historical downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. They told us they have a restaurant, so we decided to pay them a visit this time we are in town. Reservation was easy to make online, so off we go.It is in the Strewn Winery, so the scenery is superb.Their staff are friendly, and know their food as well as the chefs. They know what the foods are like and how they would taste. We started with their Balsamic Blast, which is plain soda mixed with their signature Balsamic. Totally didn't know we can do that! They taste excellent! So good we forgot to take a picture of it.Their bread went perfectly with their in-house Balsamic and Olive Oil.Their Crab Cake got a good kick to it.Their tiger shrimp is fresh, but my wife prefer it to be a bit more firm. Now, the main courses. My wife went for the gnocchi, and it baffle us. How did the chef manage to cook up a perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned gnocchi when they are that big?Their pizza sure bring us back to Italy. Not exaggerating. This is one cool little place that worth coming back to.
